Announcing the PREWARDS Money-Saving Program
The use of coupons to save dollars here and there can make a big difference in a household budget. Community Bank of Broward is pleased to help you save more money at your favorite merchants by offering PREWARDS as part of our debit card program.
Similar to a coupon, a Preward is an incentive that a merchant sends to debit cardholders by text message or email. To redeem a Preward, you simply use your Community Bank of Broward debit card at the merchant's place of business. Once the transaction is complete, the incentive will be applied as a deposit to your checking account.
For example, you may receive a Preward text or email from Outback Steakhouse offering you "$5 off of your next $35 purchase." If you spend at least $35 at Outback before the expiration date noted on the Prewards page, you will receive a $5 credit into the bank account linked to your debit card. A record of each redeemed Preward will be logged on your Prewards page. In addition, an email and/or SMS text message can be sent to confirm your redemption.
Enrollment in PREWARDS is optional, FREE, and open to all CBOB debit cardholders. To sign up, visit https://cbob.myprewards.com. You will then be prompted for information about your card and your communication preferences. Once entered and submitted, a confirmation note will be sent to your email account on file.
